Our Story...
As the saying goes, when life gives you lemons… Well, our founder isn’t one for making lemonade – she prefers cellos. It all began in the late ’90s when Sally Chilton (aka Mumma Cello) discovered potential in a gifted bottle of limoncello, though it lacked the true citrus tang she craved. With years of experience in hospitality and a passion for flavour, Sally began experimenting in her South London kitchen, and from there, RamTang’ was born.
At 71, defying expectations and stereotypes, Sally – a lifelong entrepreneur who thrives on doing things differently – chose not to retire but to embark on her next venture. Empowered by her love for citrus and commitment to innovation, she’s on a mission to reinvent the cello category.
