Triple Lime

2 MIN • SERVES 1

YOU WILL NEED:

For the Butterfly Pea Tea Ice Cube:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1-2 teaspoons dried butterfly pea flowers (or 1 tea bag)

For the Cocktail:

  • 20 ml Bison Vodka
  • 20 ml RamTang' Lime Cello
  • 40 ml Rapscallion Dry Lime
  • Garnish: Lime wheel

METHOD:

Prepare the Butterfly Pea Tea Ice Cube:

  • Boil 1 cup of water, then pour it over the dried butterfly pea flowers (or use a butterfly pea tea bag) in a heatproof cup.
  • Let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes, until it turns a deep blue colour.
  • Remove the flowers or tea bag, and allow the tea to cool completely.
  • Once cool, pour the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid (for at least 4-6 hours or overnight).

Make the Cocktail:

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine 20 ml Bison Vodka, 20 ml Lime RamTang, and 40 ml Rapscillon Dry Lime.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake the mixture well for 15-20 seconds until it's chilled.
  • Place one butterfly pea tea ice cube in a chilled glass.
  • Strain the cocktail into the glass over the butterfly pea tea ice cube.

Garnish:

Add a lime wheel on the rim of the glass or float it on top of the cocktail for a fresh citrusy finish.

Serve:

  • As the butterfly pea tea ice cube melts, the cocktail will gradually change colour, adding a fun visual element. Enjoy your Triple Lime cocktail immediately!
